Our client is looking for an Events Manager to support 1st and 3rd party events. The team at large is responsible for accelerating access to sales and marketing tools, discover new growth opportunities, and accelerate revenue through a global marketplace.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders on the Startups Team to manage 1st and 3rd party events, executive side meetings, virtual events/webinars and executive roundtables. The successful candidate will have experience with the channel and ecosystem and have extensive background supporting 1st and 3rd party events as well as managing virtual events and webinars. The position will be remote, primarily working from home, however some international travel may be necessary. Specifically, the Startup Event Manager will do the following:

  • Provide end to end support for a list of predetermined 1st and 3rd party events. Event sizes can range from 10-100,000+
  • Build out an event playbook to standardize what is possible around different event types
  • Will establish ROB and process around event planning
  • Create and send event communications (T minus emails, newsletters etc)
  • Speaker & content coordination
  • Support booth design in some cases
  • Coordinate exclusive customer events including workshops, roundtables, dinners, and receptions
  • Track event ROI and provide reporting
  • Digital event management and webinar support

Requirements

  • 5 years of event coordination or management experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience coordinating programs
  • Experience working with creative teams, creative production teams or email developer teams
  • Direct experience managing or executing marketing campaigns (single or multi-channel) a plus
  • Experience working in the technology sector supporting technical events
  • Experience supporting first and third-party events
  • Experience running virtual webinars and/or virtual event series
  • Proficient in excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to create and update .OFT templates for outlook
