Job Description Summary
The Executive Account Manager (EAM) is responsible for driving order and revenue growth across the entire GE HealthCare (GEHC) portfolio and successfully expanding GEHC’s market share in Germany within both the private and public hospital sectors.
The EAM establishes and maintains business relationships with key executives to develop and implement long-term plans. The assigned accounts are typically large, multi-site, market-leading, and highly strategic players in the healthcare sector, such as academic institutions, large private/public hospital chains, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
The EAM is responsible for proactively developing and implementing a comprehensive GE HealthCare sales strategy that leverages the strength of GE HealthCare’s extensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions to secure significant, strategic, cross-P&L investments from customers.
The EAM reports to the leadership team in Germany and is part of a global network of Executive Account Managers.
The ideal home office location would be in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg, with travel as is customary in sales.

Your Responsibilities:
You will achieve sales, order, and margin targets for GEHC strategic customers while managing costs within budget
You will build long-term, strategic customer relationships to create value for them beyond the mere sale
You will develop a business plan and strategy to identify new business opportunities for all GEHC products and services
You will continuously nurture relationships with key customers, understand their initiatives and priorities, and keep the GEHC Regional Manager, Zone Manager, and relevant product leaders informed and engaged
You will establish and deepen relationships at the executive level by promptly resolving customer concerns and addressing needs through the involvement of all relevant GEHC resources. In addition, you promote the use of service offerings, identify and escalate relevant commercial service needs, and actively contribute to increasing the customer NPS
You build strong internal relationships within the EAM network as well as with local sales teams and leverage them effectively
You support the creation of comprehensive proposals and pricing for large-scale projects in collaboration with GEHC Regional Commercial Operations and the Healthcare Partners team
You ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with commercial contracts in accordance with GEHC guidelines (billing, revenue recognition, procurement, accounts receivable management)
Your Profile:
You hold a bachelor’s degree from a college or university (e.g., Healthcare IT, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering) or have comparable training/education
You have extensive experience in sales of complex capital goods to major accounts in the hospital market
You have in-depth knowledge and experience in the medical device market
You possess strong expertise in the healthcare high-tech/health IT industry as well as a good understanding of health economic strategies in relevant markets
You have a proven track record of successfully establishing and maintaining relationships with C-level executives
You are willing to travel regularly and hold a valid driver’s license
You communicate confidently in German and English
Desirable Qualities and Experience:
Experience in radiology, cardiology, or digital healthcare is a plus
You are customer-focused and quality-conscious
You have experience working within complex matrix organizations
You possess strong, inclusive leadership and communication skills and are able to manage, motivate, and develop resources, as well as build trusting relationships at all levels of an organization
You work proactively, independently, creatively, and in a structured manner, and implement plans thoughtfully and consistently
You have excellent presentation skills and can present ideas to clients in a convincing and effective manner
