Introduction to the role:

As our first Product Designer for our new mental health initiative, you'll spearhead an innovative solution for members with anxiety, depression, and stress. This is a unique opportunity to reshape mental wellness care and directly improve people's lives.

What you'll be doing:

1. Lead user-centric research and strategy (40%)

Advocate for user needs throughout development
Conduct user research and analyze competitive landscape
Synthesize insights to inform product strategy

2. Design and prototype solutions (40%)

Translate requirements into visually delightful and emotionally engaging designs
Implement quick, iterative design cycles focused on usability and user retention
Validate and refine designs through user testing and feedback

3. Create marketing materials (20%)

Design compelling presentation decks and other marketing collateral

4. Drive cross-functional collaboration

Work with engineering, product, and clinical teams
Present design rationales and research findings
Champion the design-to-development handoff process

What you need to have:

  • Passion for improving mental health outcomes
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in healthcare or tech
  • High proficiency in Figma
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Knowledge of data-driven design and analytics
  • Understanding of design systems and atomic design principles
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
