Deliver Remote Systemic Psychotherapy: Provide expert online therapeutic sessions for families, couples, individuals, and relevant relational networks, grounded in systemic theory and practice.
Conduct Systemic Assessments & Formulations: Utilise systemic frameworks to understand presenting issues within relational contexts, developing collaborative formulations and treatment plans.
Facilitate Systemic Interventions: Employ a range of systemic techniques and conversations to promote understanding, change, and healthier relational patterns. Manage sessions involving multiple participants effectively online.
Maintain Professional & Ethical Standards: Keep accurate, confidential clinical records compliant with GDPR and adhere rigorously to the ethical codes of the Association for Family Therapy (AFT) and/or UKCP.
Direct Client Management: Liaise directly with clients regarding scheduling, therapeutic agreements, fees, and managing the therapeutic frame online.
Engage in Specialist Supervision: Participate actively in regular clinical supervision with an AFT-registered/accredited systemic supervisor.

Qualification: Master's Degree (MSc) or equivalent Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy from an Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT)-accredited training programme.
Professional Registration: Current registration as a qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT), OR current registration with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) within the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy (CPPFCS). This is mandatory for eligibility.
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience providing systemic psychotherapy across diverse client groups (families, couples, individuals), including completion of extensive supervised clinical practice as required for AFT/UKCP registration.
Specialist Supervision: Confirmed arrangement for ongoing clinical supervision with an AFT-registered or accredited systemic supervisor.
Insurance: Must hold valid professional indemnity insurance specifically covering systemic psychotherapy practice (including work with couples/families) in the UK.
Right to Work: Entitlement to work on a self-employed basis in the UK.
Technical Competence: Proficiency with secure video conferencing platforms suitable for multi-participant sessions, reliable internet, and a private, confidential workspace.
Systemic Skills: Strong ability in systemic assessment, formulation, intervention, managing complex relational dynamics, reflexivity, and working effectively with conflict and multiple perspectives.
AFT Approved Supervisor status.
Accreditation or advanced training in specific systemic models (e.g., Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialogical Practice, Attachment-Based Family Therapy).
Experience working within specific settings (e.g., CAMHS, AMHS, Social Care, Third Sector).
Experience in delivering systemic therapy online.
