CommScope is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team.
This position will be remote with a preference for the East Coast.
What to Expect:
This position is primarily involved with global Sales & Marketing expense reporting and analysis, including monthly reporting packages, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. This role will also participate heavily in the annual planning process. The position will interface with many functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and HR all around the world.
You will Make an Impact By:
- Analyzing monthly performance and variances to both prior year and plan as related to sales & marketing expenses.
- Issuing monthly and quarterly expense reports and analysis to the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams.
- Producing ad hoc reporting based on requests from the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams.
- Managing cost centers including coordinating the addition of new cost centers, blocking obsolete cost centers, maintaining the proper headcount in the cost centers, and coordinating changes to cost centers.
- Tracking headcount and related spending and prepares related reporting and analysis.
- Working on sales agent expense reporting and analysis.
- Managing Marketing programs expense reporting and analysis.
- Tracking T&E (travel and entertainment) expense reporting and analysis.
- Assisting in monthly SIP accrual for month-end closing.
- Participating heavily in the annual planning process by gathering information from the sales & marketing team, obtaining required budget approvals, and coordinating budgets with FP&A.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- A completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Must have the ability to compile and analyze complex data and report the data accurately and effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.
- Ability to work effectively on a team or independently with moderate supervision.
- Has a track record of delivering results on time with a keen attention to detail.
- Extremely organized and able to easily adapt to changes in priorities.
- Possesses the highest level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Power Point experience a plus.
You Will Excite Us if You Have:
- Experience using SAP ERP, Business Objects (SAP report writer), Hyperion Essbase (EPBCS).
- Familiarity with Alteryx, and/or Power BI.
