The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis, preparing reports, and delivering insights that will help guide the organization’s financial strategy. This role will involve assisting with budgeting, forecasting, grant reporting, and cost analysis to ensure the organization’s resources are optimized for impact. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, non-profit experience, and a deep understanding of financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasts.
- Grant Reporting: Track and ensure compliance with grant budgets.
- Variance Analysis: Review budget vs. actuals and provide recommendations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Cost Allocation: Support accurate allocation of costs across programs.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, with prior experience in the non-profit or public sector preferred.
- Non-Profit Experience: Understanding of non-profit financial management, including grant accounting, restricted and unrestricted funding, and fund accounting.
