What Will You Do?
The Foster Care Coordinator’s primary purpose is to provide support, guidance, coordination, and intervention to their assigned youth and families in the Foster Care program. Performance will be measured by your individual outcomes, achieving your individual targets/goals, your contribution to your overall program team/department and your buy-in to the culture of the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Display individual proficiency and effectiveness in the role
- Be punctual, arrive on time, and prepared
- Learn and utilize the organization’s systems, processes and procedures as instructed
- Display a high degree of being open to coaching/feedback regarding performance and areas of improvement
- Contribute to a positive team culture through your actions, attitude, and communication
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service to your clients/customers
- Conduct yourself in the highest standards of ethics and integrity while displaying emotional intelligence in your day-to-day work with customers, peers, and leadership
- Represent the organization internally and externally through your communication and conduct
- Display trauma informed practices and principles in your interactions with customers, with peers and with leadership
- Manage the needs of the foster child and foster parent on their caseload, including case management, behavior management, guidance, support, education
- Ensure documentation for all foster children meets regulatory compliance, manage the entire health record, and ensure treatment plans and authorizations are all adhering to policy
- Provide effective crisis response as needed
- Remote Position- Will serve families in the Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Other duties as assigned
What qualifications do you need?
The Foster Care Coordinator’s must have:
- Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
- Education requirement for this individual contributor role is: Bachelor’s Degree in social work or relate field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills. Meets designation as a Qualified Professional in NC.
