The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Community Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for conducting social listening and compiling comprehensive reports for one of our key clients in the real estate industry. Your insights and analyses will directly influence the client's social media strategy and help them stay ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a deep understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform real-time social listening across various platforms to monitor conversations, trends, and sentiment related to the client's brand and industry.
  • Compile and analyze social media data to create daily reports highlighting key insights, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with the client and internal teams to understand their objectives and tailor reporting to meet their needs.
  • Deliver social media reports multiple times per day, seven days a week, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to optimize the client's social media strategy and content performance.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with the client, updating them on relevant trends, insights, and developments in real-time.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies to continuously improve reporting methodologies and deliverables.

What You’ll Bring

  • Educational background in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management, community management, or social listening, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Expertise in social media analytics tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Brandwatch.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of real-time reporting.
  • Experience working with clients and delivering high-quality service in a client-facing role.
  • A passion for social media and a keen interest in staying abreast of the latest industry trends and developments.
Working HoursThis is a freelance position working 3 hours / day, 7 days per week. Can be 100% remote, however, we have a Toronto office if you'd like to come in! Must be able to work between 9am-5pm EST.
