We are seeking a Financial Communications Analyst with native-level proficiency in Japanese. This project will involve analyzing financial communications to identify potential market abuse or unethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translation & Localization: Translate and localize financial phrases and terms into Japanese (approximately 300 hours).
- Content Analysis: Analyze Japanese financial texts for content that could indicate market abuse, insider trading, or other unethical behavior (approximately 100 hours).
Project Details:
- This is an initial 3-4 month project with potential for intermittent future support.
- While we prefer a hybrid work model (part office, part remote), we are open to candidates who would prefer to work fully remotely.
- Ideally suited for a freelancer who is available for short-term assignments in the future.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Native Japanese speaker with a strong command of the language - Must!
- Background in banking and finance - an advantage
- Good level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (programming skills are not required).
- Familiarity with the financial industry and regulatory standards is a plus.
