This position offers completeflexibility—you can log in and take calls whenever you're available, with no required minimum or maximum hours. Compensation is based onactive interpretation minutes.
Responsibilities
Provide professionalconsecutive over-the-phone interpretationbetweenEnglish and the target language.
Facilitate clear, accurate, and impartial communication across various industries.
Adhere to industry standards, confidentiality protocols, and ethical interpreting practices.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and limited-English proficient (LEP) individuals. Requirements
At least 6 months of professional OPI experience(required) Knowledge ofOPI interpreting protocols and formal training(greetings, confidentiality, turn-taking)
StrongEnglish proficiency(clear pronunciation, grammar, and communication skills)
Reliable equipment:
Computer (Windows 10 or 11 preferred)
USB headset (Bluetooth headsets not allowed)
