📋 Tasks and Responsibilities

For this assignment we are looking for a Support Engineer Media with a strong interest in media and technology.

As a Support Engineer Media you work daily in the middle of the production process. Journalists, editors and directors can confidently bring technical problems to you, after which you act quickly and effectively. You solve technical incidents yourself or engage a colleague specialist to restore the situation as quickly as possible.

You provide first-line support to production staff from various editorial departments. In doing so, you support them with the technical resources and facilities used within the radio networks, the news service and the TV editorial offices. You also take on a coordinating role with more complex problems, where you direct colleagues within the technology department to quickly restore service delivery.

In addition, you follow along on technical projects, such as new studios, broadcast systems and recording equipment. You test new systems and equipment, document your findings and provide training to end users.

📝Your Profile

You have a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a technical field such as industrial engineering or computer science, or you are equivalent through experience. Candidates with audiovisual training and good knowledge of IT and electronics are also welcome.

You have experience in a media environment, broadcast environment or audiovisual technical context. You can operationally support and coordinate a technical environment, and you are familiar with audio and video, editing software and processing media files. In addition, you have good knowledge of Windows and macOS, and you are familiar with audio and/or video recording equipment such as microphones, mixing consoles and video cameras.

You are communicative, customer-focused and stress-resistant. You can handle feedback well, attach importance to quality and take responsibility. You are analytically strong, know how to analyze questions correctly and seek solutions in a targeted manner. Furthermore, you like to work together, integrate smoothly into a team and contribute to common objectives.

You are willing to work morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
