Job Description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer, ideally with strong front-end development experience using React, and some Java experience. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the user interface for our middleware platform that integrates with Flywire products and institution student information systems. You will be joining a team in charge of designing new integration functionality and improving the current integration capabilities to improve implementation speed, cost, and scalability of our product. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, pragmatic design, and building quality products is essential.

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the design.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the globe.
  • Help your fellow developers to continue growing their skills.

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years’ experience as React developer (required).
  • Experience working as a java developer is required
  • Expertise in object-oriented programming
  • Expertise in web services, REST architecture
  • Experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable, performant, and reliable web applications and distributed systems.
  • Experience working with middleware technologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous delivery & microservices.
  • Experience in fintech or the payment industry will be appreciated.
  • Experience in QA testing and automation is a plus.
  • Experience with school’s ERP (Workday, PeopleSoft, etc) is a big plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$120,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. Your Talent Acquisition Partner can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
