Meet the team behind this journey

DeepL delivers the world's best and most reliable translations directly to end users and enterprises alike. Many thousands of users and businesses make use of the various products in the DeepL ecosystem to drive value in their own use cases. Your role in this exciting landscape would be to join the Business Technology teams that make this access possible, working with session management, account and administrative management, billing and subscription data management and much more. The technology that drives these areas consists of .NET, Node.js, React, Kafka, amongst others. In a full-stack role, you would be pivotal to providing meaningful contributions to the product

lifecycle through delivery of high quality features and insight into the architectural planning of the enterprise-grade software. The Business Technology teams consist of highly experienced professionals that are comfortable working in cross-functional spaces, regularly interfacing with various related teams, as well as the product management team

Requirements

Your responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain new features for the DeepL Business Technology space, collaborating with multiple engineering teams
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level enablement services as per our technical agreements with customers and requirements from the product management team
  • Contribute to monitoring the services in production, e.g. by defining expressive metrics and ensuring informative logs

Qualities we look for

  • Technical Proficiency: You are proficient in C# with solid experience in both frontend and backend development, ideally also familiar with React and/or Typescript on the frontend.
  • Experience: You have a strong background in software engineering and have successfully developed and deployed software in a professional setting. Experience in AI, ML, or natural language processing would be a significant plus.
  • Problem-solving: You have robust problem-solving skills and can tackle complex technical challenges. You approach problems with an innovative mindset and are always ready to devise creative solution
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and can work effectively with cross-functional teams. Your communication skills are top-notch, and you are adept at articulating your ideas clearly.
