As a Fullstack Engineer at nuwacom, you will play a vital role in building and evolving our AI-native workspace. Working across the entire stack – from intuitive user interfaces to robust backend systems – you will deliver features that empower teams to work smarter and more collaboratively. You will collaborate closely with Developers, Designers, Product Owners, and AI Engineers to create scalable, high-quality software solutions that bring our vision to life.
Develop and implement end-to-end features from concept to production, delivering exceptional user experiences
Integrate AI capabilities into web applications, working with LLMs and AI-powered functionalities
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full technology stack using TypeScript
Design and implement scalable system architectures that support growth, performance, and reliability
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend and backend systems
Collaborate across teams (Developers, Designers, Product Owners, AI Engineers) to define and implement technical requirements
Design and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability
Optimize performance of existing systems for scalability and efficiency
Create and maintain technical documentation to promote clarity, transparency, and shared understanding
Foster a culture of learning and collaboration by promoting best practices in software engineering
Must Have
3–5+ years of experience in fullstack software development
Strong proficiency in backend development with Node.js
Solid experience with frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js, or similar modern frameworks
Hands-on experience with TypeScript for type-safe, scalable development
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar
Solid understanding of system design and scalability patterns for building robust applications
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL for building scalable services
Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows
Proficiency with testing frameworks and quality assurance practices
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and code quality
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
Fluency in English – our working language (German is a plus)
Nice to Have
Experience with AI/ML integrations (OpenAI API, LangChain, PydanticAI, or similar frameworks)
Experience with Python for backend development or AI-related scripting
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks
Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time collaborative features
Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with Prisma or similar modern ORMs
Understanding of UI/UX principles and design systems
Background in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities
