POSITION

As a Software Engineer - PHP (all genders), you will work as a lead developer in an agile team to technologically advance key DS products and implement new features for these vacation rental products, always with a clear focus on the end-to-end interaction between Property Management System (PMS), channel managers, and B2C products.

In addition, you will actively work on the big picture of the architecture and on the API interactions of the various products in order to create a uniform overall product portfolio.

CHALLENGE

• Fullstack development of existing and new DS products with a clear focus on end-to-end responsibility across subsystems
  • Conception and implementation of features, preferably in Java and TypeScript (Node.js, React)
  • Ability to work with Java and PHP legacy products
  • Implementation of interfaces and APIs for other DS products
  • Implementation and improvement of application architectures based on the AWS cloud
  • Assurance of highly available and high-performance system design and excellent code quality
  • A strong and active member of an agile team, including Product Owner support and cross-team collaboration
  • Be an active part of a team of engineers in regard to defining overarching technical concepts and practices

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• Proven work experience of at least 5 years in the field of software development
  • A solid understanding of a programming language like PHP
  • Good experience with React, Node.js and Typescript/JavaScript
  • Additional knowledge in PHP coding is an advantage
  • Competence in AWS and serverless architectures is an advantage
  • AI based development and tooling know-how are absolutely welcome
  • Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A high sense of responsibility and a goal-oriented way of working
  • Fluent German skills, verbally and written are a must have

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The position can primarily home office based/remote.

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.
