Job Summary:The Geographic Information System (GIS) and Data Administrator’s primary role for the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) is to administer GIS, Salesforce, and other Information System platforms and develop applications and services to support Forestry’s planning, operations, and reporting requirements (Forestry Districts, Forest Health, Invasive Species, Urban and Community Forestry, etc.). In addition, this position is responsible to: manage platform accounts (on- and off-boarding); systems and data security; collaboration with partners on data and systems integration; help train staff in use of platforms, apps, and services; support GIS staff with scripting and automation.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:- Administer ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, Salesforce, and other Information System platforms, accounts, and services. Including: platform and data security; accounts management; troubleshooting
• Create and maintain applications and services for ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, Salesforce, and other Information System platforms. Including: lead discovery and user acceptance testing processes; debugging; process automation; platform interoperability using webhooks, etc.
• Prepare technical documentation on application and service specifications; ensures compliance with state IT and data policies; collaborate with system administrators and developers in partner organizations.
• Support and train DFFM staff and partners in the use of platforms, applications, and services
• Drive on State business.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of:
- Esri GIS systems such as ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal
• Programming languages, database management systems, development platforms, and systems integration
• ArcGIS Online scripting languages such as Python and Arcade
• GIS vector and raster data models and GIS Services (Feature Service, Image Service, Vector Tile Service, etc.)
• Current Esri GIS software and procedures
Skills in:

Pre-Employment Requirements:A valid Arizona Driver's License.
Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
