The Role

Global Trading Associate will provide crucial support to our LATAM team by managing import & export operations, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring smooth communication between internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinate import & export shipments and logistics activities in fruits and vegetables business, including order processing, documentation handling, and transportation arrangements.
- Assist in managing import & export documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing delays in customs clearance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and the LATAM team to align tasks and strategize ways to optimize export and logistics operations.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders, addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline import & export and logistics processes, enhance efficiency, and improve overall operational performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in export and logistics management, applying knowledge to drive improvements and maintain competitiveness.

Preferred backgrounds:

- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in import & export operations, logistics coordination, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of export documentation requirements, customs regulations, and international trade practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance in documentation and record-keeping.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English

Contract type: IndependentContractor (1 year) with the possibility of extension based on performance
