Job Description

This role is about educating, evangelizing and creating a community for RevOps professionals, in a way deeply meaningful and helpful for its members. That’s why we are seeking someone who is a RevOps professional to do the job. We’re looking for someone who is in the weeds with the processes, data and technology of marketing, sales and customer success operations. We’re talking about building flows in Salesforce, putting together and executing a data strategy, documenting processes, integrating RevTech to optimize sales efficiency, etc. You know, the really nerdy RevOps stuff.

But this role is about teaching this to others and building a community for RevOps. So, that means you enjoy talking to and connecting with people. You have a knack for creating content. You want to have a larger impact on the RevOps community.

This might sound like an unorthodox marketing role, and it probably is. But we like to do things a little differently at Chili Piper. We think it’s easier and more impactful to find someone who is excellent at RevOps and then develop their marketing skills than to find someone who is good at content and community but needs to learn RevOps.

As the Head of Content and Community for RevOps, you will work independently and drive programs on your own, but you will also have the support of the marketing team and the broader GTM team. You have the opportunity to create a lasting impact and further your career as a GTM professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across teams to produce and distribute high-impact RevOps content across multiple platforms, focusing on educating and engaging our target audience.

  • Manage and expand our network of RevOps influencers to enhance brand credibility, increase our market reach, and build our RevOps community.

  • Actively engage in and lead our efforts in building and nurturing micro-communities.

  • Participate in, and network at, various industry events and work closely with RevOps partners to foster relationships that enhance brand visibility and market penetration.

  • Utilize and master a suite of revTech tools including, Chili Piper, Hubspot, Salesforce, Gong, Reveal/Crossbeam, etc. to ensure we’re following and teaching RevOps best practices.

  • Monitor and measure campaign effectiveness and optimize based on performance metrics such as pipeline generated, qualified meetings, and marketable audience growth.

  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers, partners, and customers to amplify Chili Piper’s brand.

  • Develop and manage a budget for programs and campaigns, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize impact and ROI.

  • Be a champion for the Chili Piper brand within the RevOps community, promoting our vision and values to enhance brand perception and building loyalty.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 4 years in RevOps within a B2B SaaS/software environment. Experience in a general marketing role is a plus.

  • You are highly proficient in RevOps-specific tools, have exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, and are enthusiastic about learning new marketing tactics.

  • You are a proactive, hands-on doer who is passionate about building communities and educating others

  • You have strong opinions on what great RevOps looks like

  • You are great at working cross-functionally to drive initiatives
