We are looking for a senior professional to take on the role of Head of Credit, responsible for defining and managing the company’s credit policy, with a primary focus on the Credit Card product. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit policies, strategies, and modeling, along with a strong background in portfolio management and risk control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the Credit Policy for all company products.
- Develop and implement strategies and actions for credit campaigns, such as pre-approved offers.
- Oversee and manage the credit portfolio risk, monitoring indicators and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Define, control, and manage the limit for clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk appetite.
- Track and report key credit KPIs, including delinquency rates, over-limit usage, and portfolio performance from both vintage and portfolio perspectives.
- Ensure governance and compliance of credit practices, aligning with regulatory guidelines and market best practices.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Credit Cards, with a proven track record in defining credit policies and strategies.
- Knowledge of credit modeling and analytical tools to assess customer risk and behavior.
- Experience in portfolio management and credit risk control, focusing on maximizing results and mitigating losses.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects, acting strategically and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with credit performance indicators and the ability to conduct detailed portfolio performance analyses.
- Fluency in English or Spanish is required.
