You are an expert in social media technology, listening, research, data analysis, reports and dashboards with a track record of telling the stories that emerge from the research data and in finding interesting insights.

You possess the natural ability to turn raw data into impactful stories that help turn insights into action. You are well versed with the structured approach for communicating data insights through data visualisation, infographics, dashboards, and other visual elements.

You possess a high level of experience with using data to feed into creative ideation for social media and marketing initiatives with an extensive knowledge of social media and marketing data tools

What You’ll Do πŸ“…

As the Head of Social Media Intelligence you will be part of a team of social media and creative experts helping our clients harness the power of social. You will manage a team of data analysts to deliver the best analysis, performance reporting, auditing and audience insights to drive social media excellence for our clients and demonstrate Social ROI.

You will lead on finding insights and stories and work with Strategists to align our clients’ social with their strategic goals and help them make informed decisions.

You will also ensure the agency is using the best tools to drive the right results for our clients - who work at some of the biggest and most famous brands in the world.

  • Quality control across all outputs
  • Finding unique insights and strong stories from analysis and research to support the development of social media strategies, creative content and reporting
  • Managing service-level profit and loss account to ensure we are delivering profitable work and value for money
  • Ensuring we deliver compelling and eye-catching reports, dashboards, analysis and social listening
  • Ensuring technical information is digestible for different types of audience
  • Providing leadership, support, guidance and feedback to direct reports
  • Set goals/ KPIS/ measurement recommendations to senior clients and feel comfortable presenting reports and results to this same audience
  • Make sure all reports are easy/ friendly to read yet insightful and strong on data.
  • Make sure all deliveries add strategic value to clients, informing their decision making processes.
  • Ensuring the team has the best processes and tools
  • Be an inspirational leader to a team of Social Media Analysts

Requirements

  • Experience working with social media data, in collaboration with Strategists, Creatives and Marketing experts
  • Experience designing coding and creating social media reports, and bespoke dashboards to clients.
  • Experience with social media tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Audiense, GWI, etc.
  • Industry knowledge of KPIs and relevant measurement techniques, coding and formula
  • Hold a network in the social media field to keep ahead of emerging industry trends, changes, new tools & technologies
  • Collaborative and conscientious communicator
  • A history of coming up with new ideas and services in the area of data, insights and research
  • Previous team leadership and management experience
  • Ability to work independently and meet client deadlines
  • Experience in behavioural data science or related areas would be an advantage
