Health Coach - Real Appeal

AT A GLANCE

As a Real Appeal Health Coach, you will support members through a virtual 26-week behavior change-based weight loss program. Because Real Appeal is available to members on their phones, tablets, or PCs, we’re removing barriers and placing healthcare (and prevention) in the hands of our consumers. Our coaches host live group and 1-on-1 sessions and use written coaching to keep members engaged and supported between live sessions. Coaches permanently work from home and require a designated private workspace.

Must be able to work the following schedule:

Mondays-Thursdays: 1:30 pm -10:00 pm CT

Fridays: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm CT

Rally CoachSM University (RCU) is an Approved Training Program (ATP) through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). As a Real Appeal Coach, you will participate in our ATP. As a graduate of the RCU ATP program, you will be one step closer to being eligible to apply and sit for the NBHWC certifying exam. Rally Health coaches who complete our internal ATP have the option to request reimbursement for the cost of their exam, up to two attempts.

What You’ll Do

• Build rapport with members and focus on establishing healthy habits by facilitating weekly group sessions that follow the Real Appeal program (which covers nutrition, fitness, and other behaviors that impact health).
• Conduct on-camera 1-on-1 sessions and message members as needed through our integrated online platform to provide support.
• Encourage behavior change and goal-setting/action-planning through our digital platform in every member interaction (classes, 1-on-1 sessions, and messaging) using our coaching model.
• Provide customer service for members to support the understanding and execution of the Real Appeal program.
• Engage with initiatives to support the growth of RVO Health’s coaching business.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health, wellness, or behavior change discipline OR equivalent experience in health coaching.
• Experience working with software programs/online platforms (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience helping individuals change health behaviors.
• 2+ years of experience listening and communicating (written and verbal) with clients
• Experience doing on-camera virtual presentations.
