Service Line/ Business Area: Human Resources; TUPE, Bid Support and Transition Team

Reporting to: Head of TUPE & Bids, UK&I

Fixed term contract: 06/09/2024

Employment Type: Full-time

Mobility Required: No specific base location required – role can be done remotely. Travel is likely to be required to support some of the TUPE exit activity in 2024 although this is not expected to be significant

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a HR Advisor who will work in partnership with the business to lead and support on TUPE transfers in and out of Atos. The main focus will be to lead and support TUPE exit related activity. The UK&I TUPE team are responsible for supporting bids, transitions and exit from a people transfer perspective.

Role Responsibilities:

General:

Running transitions and exits and ensuring all activities are managed including:

  • Project Management of all HR activities required for a successful TUPE transition in/ out, ensuring all people related requirements are considered and managed effectively.
  • Completion of due diligence spreadsheets, data analysis and production of accurate information within required timescales, collation of data from a variety of sources
  • Responding to queries from employees being transferred into or out of Atos, production of FAQ documents, responding to employee queries in a timely manner, supporting employee briefings.
  • Define and manage consultation approach in consultation with relevant Employee Forum/ Trade Unions/Employee Reps, lead TUPE consultation meetings with employees.

Transition In:

  • To manage transition within timescale and budget.
  • Lead and manage all TUPE related activities including planning and engagement, communication and consultation, transition and onboarding.
  • To ensure all parties meet their statutory obligations.
  • To mitigate risks and issues.
  • To establish positive working relationship with relevant trade unions and employee representatives.
  • To agree measures which are mutually satisfactory.
  • To establish continuity and support post transfer.

TUPE Exit:

  • To ensure Atos meets its obligations and successfully manage the people related exit activities.
  • To comply with the provisions of the exit schedule – timescales and data provision.
  • To support transferring employees throughout the TUPE exit process.
  • Ensure new employer complies with regulations in relation to the TUPE transfer and consultation requirements.
  • Agree incoming supplier measures and communicate these to transferring employees via the TUPE consultation process.
  • Undertake consultation with representatives during the collective TUPE consultation process

What essential skills required to qualify for the role?

  • Delivering projects through to completion

  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation skills, leadership and team working
