Role Summary:
The HRIS and Organization Support Specialist maintains the company’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS) through timely and accurate data entry and assists the Organization Analyst in the execution of the Organization and Position Change Management processes.
Leads the implementation and ongoing management of a data system that allows proper and accurate HR analytics, as well as the development of necessary internal, corporate, and external HR reporting needs with data-based research and problem-solving.
Key User which maintains all necessary HRIS master data by accurately and timely executing all actions in the system and responsible for data integrity, accuracy and reporting of all HR information housed within SAP and other HR systems.
The position also supports Integrated Talent Management System upgrades, testing, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities and other technical projects as assigned including data dashboards.
Role Responsibilities:
SAP HCM (40%)
- Maintain and execute all actions in HRIS Master Data (SAP) and verify validity of requests and ensure planned SAP change requests conform to Human Resources operational processes for all Organizational Management (OM) and personnel Administrative (PA) actions for the VWGoA & VGCA Brands, e.g., data changes on both the position and employee sides of the system, including but not limited to new hires, terminations, and organizational structure changes.
- Develops integration scripts as needed for data export or import into SAP HR
- Serves as responsible party to ensure accurate and timely integration of SAP HR data with Oracle Talent Connect. Develops integration scripts as needed for data export or import into SAP HR.
- Partners with HR Operations to improve data entry processes and ensure integrity of system data and performs ad-hoc training for new / prospective SAP key admins.
HR Reporting and Analysis (40%)
- Develops standard and ad-hoc reports, queries and matrices utilizing appropriate reporting tools (e.g., SAP queries or other reporting tools) to meet business requirements.
- Supports ad-hoc headcount reporting process between HR and Finance colleagues for ultimate delivery to Volkswagen or Audi AG
- Supports headcount led to validate headcount reports to VWAG and enters data into the ZEUS system for Monthly Actuals, Forecasting, Planning Rounds and Yearly budgets.
- Supports lead role to generate internal monthly Headcount Reports, in collaboration with the Finance department, to validate data integrity.
- Compiles and delivers recurring and ad-hoc requests for surveys and labor statistics to government agencies and professional associations, including internal audit requests.
- Supports EEO-1 Report Filing, Other Agency requirements and payroll/financial statement audits.
General (20%)
- Provides HRIS technical expertise to support and implement various technology-related projects.
- Supports Org & HC Planning Sr. Director with various tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Years of Experience:
- 7+ years’ experience in HR Informational Systems support
Education - Required
- HS Diploma
Education - Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, IT, Business, or related field desired
Skills:
- Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software
- Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic.
- Integration – joining people, processes, or systems.
- Problem solving, proposes and implements system solutions where need arises.
Specialized Skills - Required:
- Previous experience with an HRIS platform (SAP highly preferred)
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and other Office products)
- Previous experience in Human Resources strongly desired
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to articulate SAP data standards and key processes to internal HR customers.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with HR colleagues at all levels
Specialized Skills - Desired:
- Experience with Volkswagen Group organizational processes and systems
- Experience with SAP HR platform
- Demonstrated experience developing organizational structures for new and existing business units
Work Flexibility:
- Minimal travel for training and conferences
Compensation
Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications.
In the state of California, the salary range is $63,300.00 - $86,900.
In the state of Colorado, the salary range is $57,600.00 - $79,900.00.
In the state of Washington, the salary range is $63,300.00 - $86,900.
In New York City, the salary range is $69,100.00 - $94,800.00.
In Westchester County, the salary range is $69,100.00 - $94,800.00.
In the state of Rhode Island, the salary range is $57,600.00 - $79,900.00.
