THE WORK:
- You’ll lead and coordinate the design, planning, resource allocation, and technical activities for major capital projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
- You’ll prepare and review Scope of Work documents, analyze scope alternatives, and troubleshoot engineering challenges.
- You’ll plan, schedule, and manage budgets and resources to meet project timelines and financial objectives.
- You’ll review and evaluate technical project documents to identify gaps, errors, or areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations.
- You’ll lead the resolution of technical conflicts, exercising discretion to advise and recommend courses of action.
- You’ll oversee the quality assurance of design and engineering outputs from internal and external resources.
- You’ll manage activities for large, long-term projects with significant financial or operational impact, often involving cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- You’ll interact regularly with senior management, serving as a key consultant on corporate-wide initiatives and providing leadership to ensure the delivery of results.
- You’ll establish project objectives, timelines, risk analyses, milestones, deliverables, and budgets while resolving issues and prioritizing tasks to ensure successful execution.•You’ll drive problem-solving and issue resolution processes, escalating complex challenges to senior management as necessary.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- At least seven years of project management experience.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
