The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a key driver of Smart Care’s revenue growth. This inside sales role focuses on identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospective customers within target markets. Through phone and email outreach, the ISR builds relationships, uncovers customer needs, schedules qualified meetings for the field sales team, and generates work orders. Success is measured by the generation of Sales Qualified Leads and prospective customer outreach activities.
This role partners closely with sales and marketing and is ideal for someone looking to grow a career in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and engage decision-makers through outbound phone and email outreach
Qualify leads based on customer needs, budget, timeline, and fit and hand-off to salesperson
Set meetings and appointments for field sales representatives and generate work orders
Clearly communicate Smart Care’s value proposition and overcome basic objections
Maintain accurate activity, lead status, and notes in CRM and sales tools
Collaborate with marketing and sales to support campaigns and initiatives
Provide feedback to improve messaging, scripts, and outreach strategies
Meet or exceed SQL and activity goals Qualifications
Professional, results‑driven, and motivated to build a sales career
Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating via email with sales aptitude
Strong listening, communication, and organization skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Positive, team‑oriented attitude Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred OR 1–2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, lead generation, or cold calling
B2B services sales experience a plus
Familiarity with CRM and sales/marketing tools, and/or Microsoft Office
