Responsibilities
- Develop and design engaging, learner-centric instructional materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
- Apply instructional design models and theories to create effective learning experiences that meet learning objectives and outcomes.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to tailor instructional content accordingly.
- Utilize Lectora to build, maintain, and enhance eLearning modules and interactive content.
- Ensure Lectora courses are SCORM-compliant and integrate seamlessly with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Create and curate content, including text, graphics, audio, and video, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content and ensure instructional integrity.
- Conduct thorough reviews and testing of instructional materials to ensure accuracy, functionality, and adherence to federal guidelines and standards.
- Implement feedback from learners and stakeholders to continually improve course quality and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Lectora-based eLearning projects.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal agencies or understanding federal guidelines and standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Lectora authoring software and other eLearning development tools.
- Experience with SCORM, AICC, and xAPI standards.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and their integration with eLearning content.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
