What you’d be doing:

  • Collaborate on the implementation of insurance product launches, modifications, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and actively participate in automation initiatives.Address and resolve product-related issues through regression testing and validation of product functionality.
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.    

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
  • Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON.
  • Ability to problem-solve, work independently, manage workload, and plan to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in creating functional documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Actuarial, Computer science, or related field.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

  • Previous experience in the Insurance industry, preferably personal lines, homeowners, and/or commercial BOP
  • Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
  • Working usage of VBA.
  • Actuarial exams or related experience.
  • Process automation experience.
