Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an IS Support Technician to join our Information Services (IS) team. This full-time opportunity will provide onsite technical support and services on GHD technologies, applications and platforms under guidance of local IS to enable the delivery of work to GHD’s clients.
Working within IS in our Brisbane CBD office, this position will see you involved in:
- Providing high level of technical support with supported GHD technologies, applications and platforms.
- Completing assigned tasks via the ticketing system, Manager and other sources to meet or exceed service levels.
- Diagnosing and resolving client issues to minimise recurrence.
- Collaborating with professional, friendly and helpful interactions with clients at all times.
- Accurately updating and/or logging all tasks/client requests in the ticketing system.
- Effectively prioritising tasks to ensure service levels/deadlines are met.
- Reporting identified risks in accordance with the GHD Risk Management Framework.
- Escalating and communicating incidents to other relevant internal technology teams where appropriate.
What you will bring to the team:
- Some technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, key hardware and software applications – For example, Microsoft Teams, Outlook.
- Knowledge of network cabling and TCP/IP networks, Active directory desirable.
- Experience in a helpdesk/desktop support role or similar.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people.
- Industry Certification (ie ITIL, MSCE) would be advantageous.
Note - This position is based in Brisbane and may require you to travel between some of our regional offices as required.
