Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Jr. Financial and Banking Reporting Analyst (Jr. Cession Analyst) to join our financial reporting team. In this role, you will receive training and support to develop your skills in assisting with the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reports. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their finance or accounting careers who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic work environment.
Job Objective:
To learn and support the financial reporting process by assisting in the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, while developing a foundational understanding of financial analysis, reporting standards, and internal processes.
In This Role, You Will:
Perform high-volume reconciliations of bank statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reporting for a portfolio of approximately 2,000 entities. Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies and variances, and support the integrity of financial reporting across multiple accounts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues and support timely financial reporting deliverables. Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to manage large volumes of data and maintain accurate financial records.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Demonstrate experience performing high-volume bank reconciliations and financial reporting activities. Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large datasets. Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Have experience with PDF management software; familiarity with Nuance PDF is preferred.
