About the Role
A client is seeking an entry-level animator for a creative endeavor inspired by Japanese animation aesthetics. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity for emerging talent to gain professional experience while working on a character-driven animated piece. The project emphasizes artistic growth and portfolio development.
Responsibilities:
- Create 2D animation sequences following provided style guidelines
- Develop animation that captures the essence of Japanese animation aesthetics
- Maintain consistency in character movement and expression
- Collaborate with the project owner to understand and execute their vision
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines for animation deliverables
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in at least one of the following: Moho Pro, Toon Boom, or TV Paint
- Understanding of fundamental animation principles
- Ability to replicate anime-inspired art styles
- Basic knowledge of character animation and movement
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable internet connection for remote work
