Resource Innovations is seeking a Jr. Accountant to join our growing team in California. As a Jr. Accountant with Resource Innovations, you will support the Accounting Lead and Accounting Manager on various month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities from GL accounting, reconciliations, accruals and other ad hoc activities. In addition, we are looking for an individual who can take charge of our banking activity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily bank report upload to Oracle and reconciliation.
- Initiate wires/ACH and Check Printing in the bank.
- Perform various month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities from GL Accounting, reconciliations, accruals and other ad hoc activities.
- Assist with the year-end audit.
- Update, maintain and develop where necessary, accounting policies and procedures to support the operations of the network.
- Assist in accounting projects or perform other duties as time permits or as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with Oracle is preferred, previous experience working in a paperless/cloud based accounting environment is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, including Excel and Word.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player who can identify and initiate process improvements.
