Harris Computer is looking for a driven and curious Junior AI Specialist to join our growing technology teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within a global software organisation.
You’ll work on real-world challenges across our portfolio of businesses, supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions that enhance products, automate processes, and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers across multiple industries.
This role offers a strong blend of hands-on technical development, learning, and business exposure, with mentorship from experienced engineers and data specialists.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Machine Learning Development
Support the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and AI models
Assist in building intelligent features into enterprise software products
Work with technologies such as Python, ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch), and APIs
Data Analysis & Processing
Prepare, clean, and analyse datasets to support model training and evaluation
Work with structured and unstructured data from various sources
Contribute to data pipelines and feature engineering
Research & Innovation
Stay up to date with emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices
Contribute to internal innovation initiatives and AI-driven improvements
Explore opportunities to apply generative AI, automation, and predictive analytics
Collaboration & Delivery
Work alongside software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders
Contribute to agile development processes and project delivery
Document solutions and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
Strong foundational knowledge of:
Machine Learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation)
Programming (preferably Python)
Basic understanding of software development principles
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
