Your new role

The Business Analyst works with the Project Manager and Project Team throughout the Project to ensure the project team and business has the necessary data, insights, processes and analysis to effectively deliver the change.

What you’ll be doing

  • Gathers and analyses qualitative and quantitative data collected through the use of various job analysis techniques. Captures, organises, and synthesises data to inform the OD project
  • Presents data analysis results in a clear and comprehensive manner that identifies themes and provides recommendations for potential challenges.
  • Maintains and utilises project management tools to provide reporting and insights to the Project Manager
  • Prepares materials for each stage in the organisation design roadmap including definition of design criteria, structure development, process definition.
  • Assists in the facilitation of strategy sessions and design workshops by leading group activities developed to support brainstorming, documenting current/future states and generating new ideas.
  • Uses a human resource management information system to enter, maintain and retrieve organisational structures and staffing and provide insights to the project team to inform decisions
  • Be responsible for the process design and mapping across key processes
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops with central functions and senior leaders to capture and baseline current process and performance, pinpoint areas of inefficiency/opportunities for improvement and understand their impact.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and create, baseline and report on performance measures back to relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate, lead, and organise meetings, prepare presentations and manage notes/actions in a timely manner.
  • Provide Change Management support where relevant, playing an active role when it comes to identifying process related changes and mapping impacts / developing mitigations/suggesting implementation approaches (e.g. training on new process changes).
  • Lead the scoping and planning of business process activities for defined areas, ensuring that it is mapped into appropriate project/programme plans and dependencies known and understood.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 2+ years experience of working as a Business Analyst
  • Experience of techniques for process optimisation and corresponding tools, techniques, and application, with exposure to operational excellence / Organisational Design
  • An understanding of business analysis techniques and programme/project management
  • Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy where it counts most
  • Experience in data, information management and analytics, and reporting
  • Confidence in working with both waterfall and agile environments
  • A proven track record of engaging and managing stakeholders across different levels (including Senior Leadership), functions and geographies with ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Effective communication, and presentation skills, with an ability to drive action in others
  • Proven experience pro-actively managing multiple deadlines and resources within a challenging project environment
  • Training of new processes and systems, in conjunction with Change Manager & the business
  • An understanding of Business Change concepts and tools.
  • Good knowledge of ASANA or similar project management tools
  • Ability to produce project reporting to a high standard
