What your impact will be like:

As a (Junior) Presales Engineer at Exeon, you will be member of our Deployment and Presales Team and closely collaborate with our presales and deployment engineers, our support engineers and our sales professionals. You will deliver customer presentations, support the customers with your technical expertise and advice throughout the Proof of Concepts (PoCs) process and during the deployment of ExeonTrace. You will also work closely with our Support and Engineering team to ensure that our solution, ExeonTrace, meets customer needs and is tailored to their specific requirements.

In particular, you will:

• Support the Exeon Sales team in product demonstrations as well as during the onboarding and training of new customers and partners together with more senior members of the Presales team.
  • You will deliver technical presentations to prospective customers, showcase use-cases and articulate technical capabilities of ExeonTrace.
  • You will engage with prospective customers, listening and understanding their needs, challenges and requirements and respond to technical and/or functionality questions.
• Work on PoCs and advise customers during the deployment of our Network Detection and Response solution.
  • You will do technical analysis of our customers’ networks during PoCs and make security recommendations.
  • You will implement/document the integration and setup of ExeonTrace for various data sources.
  • With your dedicated personality, you will support our customers and Presales engineers in the integration of ExeonTrace.
• You will document and communicate product feedback and new requirements and work closely with the Support and Engineering and Development teams to further develop ExeonTrace.

Requirements

• An enthusiastic (junior) professional, who enjoys customer contact, has strong presentation skills, and communicates easily with both our customers and our internal teams.
• A (junior) professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar, with a specialization in TCP/IP networking (HTTP/S, DNS, NetFlow, IPFIX, ...) or IT security (networking and application security).
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in TCP/IP networking and security and a good understanding of the following main concepts:
• Security Architectures
• Network Security incl. DNS
• Configuring Unix systems
• Elasticsearch
• Syslog collection and processing
• Fluent English and German speaker.
