Your Role
In short: You’re the technical backbone of our Data Services—but don’t worry, you don’t have to know everything yet. As a Junior Technical Product Owner (w/m/d), you’ll ensure that our microservices don’t just run—they fly. You bring order to chaos and help us build stable and scalable software.
What that means in practice:
You translate “tech” into “actionable”: You take complex ideas and requirements from the business and turn them into understandable, technical tasks for our engineering teams.
Thinking along & contributing: You work hand in hand with our data engineers, review requirements, and define test cases. In the process, you learn something new every day about software architectures and data flows.
Keeping track of everything: You are the common thread throughout the project. You guide the development from the initial sketch through the rollout to ongoing operations.
Digital tools: Tools like Git, Jenkins, or monitoring dashboards are your best friends for keeping track of the status of all services.
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone with the right mindset—that’s more important to us than being an expert right now.
Foundation: You have a degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable field.
First Steps: You have gained initial experience as a Technical Product Owner/Manager or in a comparable role—or you’re simply very tech-savvy and now want to break into product management.
Tech-Savvy: You have a solid basic technical understanding. Terms like TDD, ETL, or monitoring tools (Grafana, Graylog) aren’t completely foreign to you.
Voice of the Team: You feel comfortable working in an agile environment. You don’t have to write code yourself every day, but you understand the developers’ language and can clearly articulate problems.
Attitude: You enjoy working independently, seek pragmatic solutions, and value honest, clear communication.
Nice to have: Have you ever worked with data, used microservices, or been involved in the AdTech space? Great! If not, we’d be happy to explain it to you.
