LastPass is looking for a Junior Web Producer:

Reporting to the Manager of Web Production & Operations, you will oversee web publishing requests and manage daily content updates across the website, including global elements and pages on www.lastpass.com, to meet various business needs. If you're passionate about the web, experience in web production, a keen eye for visual design, and a drive to solve problems for both customers and internal teams, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you!

Who will you work with?

The LastPass web marketing team plays a key role in driving brand awareness, user engagement, and product adoption through a strong digital presence. Focused on delivering a user-friendly, informative experience and continuously testing new CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) strategies, this team blends expertise in digital strategy, design, and content to effectively connect with both prospects and existing customers.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

The web marketing team at LastPass works closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain a cohesive and impactful online presence. Internally, you will partner with content creators, developers, and analytics teams to optimize website performance and expand reach.

Your key stakeholders include executive leadership, who define strategic goals, and customers, whose needs inform site design and content. Externally, you will collaborate with agencies and vendors to design and execute marketing campaigns.

  • Content Publishing & Page Building: Publish content and create pages to support LastPass’ strategic initiatives, events, campaigns, product launches, and localization efforts through a content management system.
  • Web Publishing Requests: Manage incoming web publishing requests through the intake process, refine project requirements, and communicate delivery timelines to stakeholders.
  • Scrum Participation: Actively engage in scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, etc.) to ensure clear communication, align on timelines, address blockers, and continuously improve web publishing processes and production quality.
  • Visual Asset Management: Clean up and organize visual assets in the media library; manage the website’s resource library and upload new content assets as needed.
  • Content Quality Assurance: Ensure overall quality and consistency of content and web components across the website. Review and QA published content for typos, errors, and component inconsistencies; troubleshoot production-level issues within the CMS.
  • Localization Audits & Translation Requests: Perform localization audits, troubleshoot localization issues, and submit and process content translation requests.
  • Brand Consistency: Support website refreshes and brand updates, ensuring all published content is clear, accurate, complete, and consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of new pages and web updates.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Web Production & Digital Asset Management Experience: Proven experience in a similar role involving web production and digital asset management.
  • Independent & Self-Motivated: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and ownership of tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail, ensuring high-quality work and accuracy across all web projects.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • CMS Expertise: Deep understanding of CMS components, functionalities, and capabilities, with prior experience using Sitecore or a similar enterprise-grade CMS.
  • Agile & Scrum Experience: Comfortable working in an Agile environment, specifically with Scrum practices, and participating in related ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Proactive & Results-Driven: Ability to manage multiple, varied priorities with a proactive mindset, operating with a strong sense of urgency and delivering results.
  • Adaptable Team Player: High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude, coupled with a high tolerance for change and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accountability & Responsibility: Proven track record of taking responsibility for your work and contributing to broader company goals.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Solution-oriented and a creative thinker, with a positive, “can-do” attitude toward overcoming challenges.
