Young Voices’ mission is to cultivate the next generation of thought leaders for liberty in policy, journalism, and academia. We do so by providing writing training, editing, and media placement services to writers and commentators ages 18—35. Founded in 2013, our talent is regularly featured in top media outlets across the United States and Europe. We are currently looking for a program intern.
The Dissident Project connects dissident speakers from around the world to American high schoolers. We understand the importance of storytelling to catalyze an ideological shift and mobilize a community of liberty-minded young people. We are currently seeking a program intern.
We are seeking a detail-oriented worker who is passionate about supporting our rapidly growing project. We are also seeking a candidate with strong organizational, communication, and digital skills who is interested in a career in communications. This person will work directly with the program director and associate on a daily basis.

This role is Full Time and remote.
Responsibilities will include:
- Creation and design of original Dissident Project posts to social media platforms twice a week, as well as media engagement across social platforms (retweets, etc.)
- Working with the Young Voices media team to identify media opportunities for dissident speakers on—location at their speeches
- Formulating new lists of contacts to grow Dissident’s network as well as pitching events for the Fall 2025 schedule under the supervision of the Project Associate and Director
- Maintaining and creating our booking systems/contact lists.
- Preparing travel itineraries and distributing travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate personnel
Required skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in social media marketing/passion to develop social media marketing skills
- Familiarity with programs such as Canva, Salesforce, and Hubspot
- Teachable and Self-starting attitude with the ability to execute assignments, respond to feedback, and find new work without much supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion and excitement for meeting and working with incredible people in the liberty—space
