This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your legal expertise in commercial real estate and energy sectors while contributing to the development of next-generation AI systems. As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in shaping how AI models learn and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input based on your domain knowledge.
Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms.
Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages.
Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.
5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
Hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments, deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way.
Strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
High attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
Comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
Experience supporting utility-scale energy or transmission projects.
Familiarity with PJM site control requirements or interconnection documentation.
East Coast-based with East Coast project or legal practice experience.
Contract position, fully remote.
