Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor – ISO 50001 EnMS to conduct Energy Management System audits, assess compliance with international standards, and support clients throughout the certification process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ISO 50001 Energy Management System audits in accordance with applicable certification and accreditation requirements.
Plan, execute, and report EnMS audits across various industry sectors.
Prepare accurate audit plans, documentation, reports, and certification records within prescribed timelines.
Evaluate Energy Management Systems for compliance with applicable ISO standards and certification requirements.
Ensure technical accuracy and timely completion of audit deliverables.
Conduct effective opening and closing meetings with clients.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the certification process.
Participate in technical discussions and support business development activities when required.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
Completion of a recognized EnMS Lead Auditor Course.
Strong EnMS technical knowledge in accordance with ISO 50003:2021.
Minimum 3 years of direct industrial experience, including at least 2 years in an energy-related role, OR completion of a recognized 5-day/40-hour energy technical training course.
Strong understanding of ISO management systems, auditing principles, and certification requirements.
Strong technical knowledge of Energy Management Systems and energy performance improvement practices.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Strong client engagement and stakeholder management capabilities.
Good analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and manage audit assignments effectively.
Professional, presentable, and capable of building strong client relationships.
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in Energy Management or related industries.
Practical experience in energy management, energy performance improvement, or related technical areas will be highly valued.
Experience in auditing and certification environments will be an advantage.
