Job Description

What is Trusted Health?

Trusted, Inc. is the leading digital labor marketplace and workforce management solution for the healthcare industry. We are headquartered in San Francisco but we’ve taken a digital-first approach to building our workforce and the majority of our team resides across the US and abroad.
Trusted was founded in 2017 with a focus on the largest profession in healthcare: nursing. Since then, we’ve taken a process dominated by recruiters and phone calls and converted it to a fully digital experience, connecting nurses directly to job opportunities and handling benefits, payroll, onboarding, and compliance. Our platform provides full employer of record services for employers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
In 2020, we launched our proprietary staffing platform, Works. Works helps hospitals solve one of their biggest challenges: filling every shift in an environment where demand for healthcare services and labor costs are increasing exponentially. With Works, facilities can create their own on-demand nursing workforce and manage all the details from a single system. Using predictive insights and recommendations, Works helps hospitals react to fluctuations in demand, while its staffing marketplace creates competition to fill open job requisitions with high-quality, active talent.
Trusted has support from top institutional investors such as Craft Ventures, Felicis Ventures, StepStone Group, and Founder Collective, as well as healthcare innovators like Texas Medical Center, Mercy Health, Intermountain Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, and Healthbox. Most recently we closed a $149 million Series C round to fund our next stage of growth.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a team lead for the Onboarding and Compliance team with deep understanding and knowledge of healthcare staffing compliance and demonstrated leadership of an ambitious and successful team. This is a dynamic role, requiring someone who is able to balance managing timely onboarding of our working clinicians while simultaneously raising the bar and encouraging a team managing competing priorities. You will do this while maintaining accountability for high performance to meet key performance indicators. Your attention to detail, enthusiastic leadership, and ability to work cross-functionally to achieve success within a team is a must.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage a partial portfolio of clinician onboarding, consistently meeting and exceeding the compliance performance targets and expectations
  • Deep-dive into metrics, identify root causes and project manage improvements end to end. Demonstrate working knowledge of metrics and speak to domain-specific metrics and targets. Regularly pull data and analyze trends.
  • Train new hires to the team and ensure they are set up for success.
  • Create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Readily share best practices and daily efficiency tips with the team.
  • Identify improvements, recommend new processes, and follow through until full integration and adoption of new workflows is complete.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction by strategically building relationships with clients and regularly seeking feedback and opportunities to collaborate on improvements
  • Maintain high clinician satisfaction and brand trust by ensuring high-quality customer service and communication from the team.
  • Inspire a diverse audience to action by developing concise, compelling communications in multiple formats (written, spoken, decks, video, etc)
  • Confidently use and understand Trusted tools systems to perform requisite processes tasks by frequently operating autonomously.
  • Lead meetings, collaboration, and projects as necessary favoring action and speed.
  • Helps peers navigate change by normalizing the challenges of growth.
  • Audits compliance files for quality assurance.
  • Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and client standards.
  • Able to temporarily step into an acting manager role when needed

Who you are

  • Organized processed-focused. You’re the one everyone expects to plan the next trip, event, or outing. You have impeccable attention to detail. You’ve been known to color-code your binders and you may have used a label maker once or twice. You can juggle multiple competing priorities and when things fall through the crack---well, with you, that never happens.
  • Self-motivated. You feel highly responsible for the outcome of the projects you’re involved in and your friends and colleagues know they can count on you to “get things done.” Working for an early-stage startup is exciting to you and you thrive when there is a little bit of ambiguity in the air. You don’t wait for direction, you seize opportunities and want to be on a team that thinks the same way.
  • Tech-savvy. You like to create efficiencies with technology, you’ve hacked together your own systems to create efficiencies in your daily operating rhythm. You’re a master of Microsoft Office, and you love project management tools. You’re comfortable with new software programs and you’re excited to work closely with an experienced, high-caliber product team.
  • Fast learner. Ok, so maybe you haven't done 100% on the list above, but you’re excited about picking up new things and you think learning curves are more like runways. You’re a self-starter and if provided with the right direction you’ll figure out how to get to the destination.
  • People-focused. You’re passionate about helping people. You have an uncanny ability to build trust, credibility, and relationships with candidates, clients, and teammates. You’re a strong, clear, and direct communicator able to inform and influence with your words.

You have

  • 2+ years in healthcare staffing credentialing or compliance required, 1+ year in a lead role.
  • 2-4 years in a fast-paced environment or high-growth startup that requires both customer service and strong organizational skills preferred
  • A high level of comfort and ease in learning and managing different technology systems
  • Highly organized and able to manage many relationships, issues, and projects simultaneously
  • Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and Salesforce is a plus

We offer

  • Paid vacation sick time, paid family leave, and flexible work hours
  • Employer-paid health insurance, vision, and dental
  • Employer-paid life insurance
  • Mindfulness and fitness reimbursement
  • Monthly cell phone reimbursement
  • Employer-sponsored 401k
