The role is based on identifying and driving the fundamental changes necessary to orient planning team behavior towards customer needs and ensuring sustainable performance aligned with business requirements. This includes material planning and inbound logistics, planning production of finished and Semi finished goods that will enable us to have the best service, response, cost and inventory balance through all aspects of planning and fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning - create and manage production schedules, including coordinating materials for upcoming production
- Materials Planning - analyze forecasts, assess requirements, and manage raw materials and ingredients, considering available resources and lead times
- Inventory Control - establishing plans and schedules. Ensure adherence to internal guidelines
- Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with transport providers, suppliers, and production teams
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports including KPI tracking and financial analysis
- Identify and implement new requirements and processes as necessary to improve efficiency and adapt to new demands
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, customs regulations, and other applicable authorities regarding incoming materials
We hope you have:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, economics or a related field
- Experience from supply chain management or related field
- Experience or interest for the seafood industry
- Good digital skills - experience with Excel, Power BI and other digital systems
- Fluency in English and Norwegian is essential (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in SAP ECC is an advantage
- Great communication abilities - the job requires important communication with stakeholders
- Systematic - you like to analyze and are comfortable making reports
