    Role Overview

    TheLearning Content Writerundertakes research and consultation to develop learning resources across a wide range of disciplines in Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET), including but not limited to Business Services, Community Services, Construction, Financial Services, Early Childhood Care, Travel and Tourism, and many more. Full training will be provided with ongoing support and coaching for the successful candidate(s). Responsibilities

    • Ensuring the learning resources address the set criteria.

    • Designing and developing learning resources that are engaging and relevant to the workplace and industry context.

    • Rectifying and updating learning resources according to feedback and recommendations.

    • Checking for adherence to audience expectations (in terms of Australian vs. American English usage, formatting, and subject matter).

    • Adhering to our style guide to properly format and layout documents.

    • Working closely with the Development Team towards achieving goals and objectives within project plans and timeframes.

    • Communicating project issues and delays promptly.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of work experience

    • With teaching experience prioritised

    • Adept research and writing skills across a wide range of disciplines

    • Decent typing speed

    • Excellent written and spoken English

    • Experienced with Microsoft Office (focus on Word/Excel)

    • Decent internet connection speed and latency

    • Equipment redundancy
