Licensing Operations Manager (Pooling Only)

Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them training and support to build the business at their schools.

The Licensing Team plays a critical role in reviewing and approving proofs for brand compliance, but we believe it can do a lot more. We're looking for a Licensing Manager who can modernize how the team operates while unlocking new growth opportunities, turning Licensing from a function that manages approvals into one that actively drives revenue and efficiency.

A big part of this role is bringing structure and automation to a function that's relied on a lot of manual work. We're looking for someone who can identify where processes are slow or repetitive, and build the systems and workflows to fix that, while also developing stronger relationships with key partners that open up new growth for Fresh Prints.

• How do we grow the Licensing team into a function that drives real, measurable business impact?
• How do we replace manual, repetitive licensing workflows with automated, scalable processes?

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Licensing team, owning both daily operations and long-term improvements
• Oversee and improve core workflows, including trademark checks, design approvals, licensing portal submissions, and royalty reporting and tracking
• Manage relationships and communication with university and Greek licensors, and build the kind of long-term partnerships that open doors to new opportunities
• Identify and pursue new licensing opportunities, expanding our network of partner schools and organizations
• Drive key initiatives to modernize the function, including:
• Rolling out AI-powered tools for faster, more accurate licensing checks
• Automating and scaling RFP submissions to acquire new licenses
• Streamlining royalty report generation
• Publishing and maintaining up-to-date licensing guidelines and SOPs
• Collaborate closely with Tech, Product, Sales, and Design to get initiatives built and adopted
• Coach and support the team through strong documentation, clear SOPs, and direct feedback

Requirements

• At least 3+ years in operations, licensing, compliance, or similar roles
• At least 1+ years of experience managing a team
• Strong project management and workflow optimization skills
• Experience identifying inefficient processes and implementing automation or tools to streamline them
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills, with a personable, professional style that resonates well with Licensing Directors and other US-based partners
• Familiarity with US university and Greek life culture, or a strong willingness to quickly get up to speed on it
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable navigating multiple tools and systems (Gmail, Google Sheets, Airtable, etc.)
• Bonus if you've worked with licensing platforms (e.g., Affinity, DLH, BrandComply, etc.)

Job Location: Work From Home / Remote

Working Hours: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Philippine Time, Monday to Friday

Monthly Salary: Competitive salary, depending on experience
