We are seeking a litigation paralegal to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Review medical records and create medical summaries.
- Assisting attorneys in preparing civil litigation matters for trial.
- Work with clients to receive discovery documents.
- Review discovery materials.
- Draft motions and discovery responses as well as other documents.
- Draft and send out Subpoenas.
- Set up independent medical examinations.
- Prepare for trial.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal; experience in insurance defense required.
- Experience summarizing medical records.
- Paralegal certificate or other related degree is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
