Job Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function for the company. The individual will be responsible for budgeting, cash forecasting, financial analysis, business unit review, and financial modeling to support strategic business decisions, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives.
General responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior leadership (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly depending on KPI)
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process and ensure compliance with external stakeholder requirements
- Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Work closely with business operations to develop and maintain ad hoc financial models to support strategic business decisions
- Analyze actual vs. budget performance and distilling financial results in detail each month
- Assisting with development and preparation of long-term financial models, including 3- and 5- year model
- Providing key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
- Identifying and resolving information gaps through process design
- Working with CFO to further collaboration between finance and operating teams
- Responsible for supporting team members who perform month end accounting, reporting and analysis.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
- 4+ years of experience in consulting or investment banking required
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills required
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solving and use critical thinking
- Ability to handle conflict in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent verbal, electronic, presentation and written communication skills
- Work with peers and all departments for the common goals of the organization
- Reliable in meeting work commitments
- Must be flexible and adapt to most any situation
- Ability to utilize technology devices, software and application, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required
- Reliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely
