We have an opportunity for a Manager Sales, Physician Education to join our passionate THV team based in Bangalore. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager – South India, you will be responsible for providing expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure, and protocol. You will drive the business in your territory and develop new opportunities to increase sales. You will use your skills in Cath Lab/cardiac devices to support cases and promote Edwards products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as main point of contact within own business unit for assigned territory and/or customer base utilizing good understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business

  • Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy

  • Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing short-term region plan to achieve region objectives

  • partner with physicians to develop THV procedural skills for assigned sites, providing education and training on the use of the product, enabling physicians and staff to reach expert proficiency and deliver positive patient outcomes

  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced colleagues, potentially within the context of a formal mentoring program

  • Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in medical devices

  • Sales experience selling devices to cath lab or cardiac surgery

  • Ideally case support experience in the cath lab or cardiac related field

Additional Skills:

• Deep technical knowledge of BU product portfolio and how it addresses customer needs.

• In-depth understanding of BU strategy, selling model, the competitive landscape and market environments.

• Understands emerging industry trends and interdependencies affecting both Edwards and customers.

• Extensive understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the business

• Strict attention to detail.

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Anticipates and understands customer needs, feedback and objections and applies knowledge to create value.

• Utilizes long-term relationships with senior-level customers contacts and Edwards colleagues across functions to achieve success.

• Influences budgeting process in purchase departments of customers.
