The Manager/Sr. Manager Market Access Marketing reports to the Director, National (Payer, PBM) Accounts in the Market Access and Strategic Accounts (MASA) Organization and is responsible for being the liaison for MASA and Marketing activities. This position collaborates across the commercial organization, working closely with the marketing team and operations teams to align on presentation content, contracting strategies, messaging, and access reporting back to the organization.

SUMMARY OF SKILL SETS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will possess a high degree of market access knowledge, industry insights, analytical and marketing skills. You will professionally represent the MASA team at brand strategy, launch readiness and product performance review meetings. You will present the value of Azurity products, alongside the National and Strategic Account Teams, to high level customers in decision-making roles. The ideal candidate will have ample launch experience in multiple disease states and customer segments (Payer, PBM, Medicaid, GPO).

You must be able to skillfully analyze all segments of the payer marketplace and trends, to create the overarching access strategies for Azurity portfolio and launch products. You will use your deep industry knowledge and data-driven insights to influence internal organization support of MASA access strategies. You must be driven to solve problems, and continually stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, coverage and reimbursement policies, the competitive landscape as well as, potential barriers to access.

In addition to being flexible and commercially-savvy, the Manager/Sr. Manager, Market Access Marketing must possess strong project management, prioritization, and organization skills, with a drive to meet deadlines and deliver quality work on a consistent basis.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serving as the primary liaison between MASA and Azurity marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with other functions and act as the point person for MASA, driving effective interactions, identifying areas of opportunities and efficiencies; communicating launch timelines and updates back to MASA; and maintaining a positive relationship between various Azurity departments and MASA.
  • Support Azurity’s Management Systems, to ensure timely responses and meeting important launch deadlines.
  • Position MASA to support company objectives, analyze customer dynamics, and communicate findings to appropriate internal audiences.
  • Develop and communicate related analytics and reporting to ensure accurate information is available to sales and other commercial departments.
  • Develop financial models, analytical tools, and business presentations, including Budget Impact Models, as needed to support portfolio and launch projects.
  • Provide MASA with insights to shape overall access strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in related field with 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and understanding of the pharmaceutical business OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in sales, market access roles and/or marketing is highly desired.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and executive presence skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge & advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills needed to manage a large portfolio.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for work, with up to 30% travel required.
