Job Description
What you will do:
- Manage and oversee a team of Specialists in a Foreclosure Trustee Services business function who review, execute, and notarize documents pertaining to residential mortgage across states that allow a non-judicial foreclosure.
- Manage receipt and funds disbursement of 3rd party sales.
- Ensure that all non-judicial trustee foreclosure activities and transactions are compliant with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Manage the workflow and ensure that documents are reviewed and executed accurately to ensure client SLAs are met.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, notary procedures and internal standards.
- Manage client relations, interact with clients periodically to discuss performance ensuring effective portfolio management.
- Hire, train, and mentor team members, as well as setting team goals and objectives
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve their effectiveness in foreclosure trustee operations.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reporting to Client and Senior management.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
As a qualified candidate, you have:
- Experience managing a team of Foreclosure Trustee Specialists
- Experience with Residential Mortgage, Foreclosure Trustee Services, Reverse Mortgage and FHA/VA guidelines on residential mortgage foreclosures
- Strong leadership, communication, legal knowledge, and financial expertise
Optimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mortgage operations and compliance, with a focus reverse mortgage and foreclosure trustee services
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Familiarity with industry software
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
