The Director, Marketing, oversees the strategic positioning, go-to-market execution of new products and solutions, serving as the connective point between product, sales and marketing. The director also leads the creative team to effectively position and promote the Vericast Brand with clients and the greater market. This role requires a blend of creative leadership, partnership acumen across sales and product, go-to-market launch planning, and program management expertise to drive impactful marketing outcomes that support Vericast’s mission of connecting brands with consumers through intelligent marketing solutions.
This leader partners closely with a cross-functional team including marketing strategy, creative, events, sales, social media, content marketing, and leadership to ensure the company’s story, thought leadership, and brand presence are aligned, consistent, and impactful across all channels.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategies and Content Creation – 40%
Develop differentiated product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions across target audiences and market segments
Translate product capabilities into client-focused business outcomes
Ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, content, events, sales materials, and presentations
Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning for new products, enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Partner with marketing, sales, and product leadership and account teams to align launch strategy with pipeline and revenue goals
Work with content marketing, creative services, and social media teams to create and coordinate meaningful content for all owned channels.
Ensure content and creative creation and editorial process is efficient, accurate and adheres to Vericast writing and compliance standards.
Create content for presentations and product support materials.
Serve as final content/brand editor on creative team projects
Create content for client testimonials and manage client interactions and process for creative team through completion
Create content for Vericast commercials including scripts and direction of the creative process.
Act as an overflow support for all content marketing when demand is high. Creative Team Leadership 25%
Lead and manage the creative team, including designers and external agencies
Provide strategic direction and creative oversight for marketing across all channels
Establish creative standards, processes, and workflows to ensure quality and efficiency
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
Partner with external agencies as needed to supplement internal capabilities
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints
Balance creative vision with business objectives and timelines Event Program Management: 15%
Partner with Events Management to develop and execute comprehensive event strategy, including trade shows, sponsorships, and brand activations
Partner with Events Management to manage end-to-end event planning, budgets, logistics, and cross-functional coordination
Oversee creative execution for events, ensuring memorable and on-brand experiences
Measure event ROI and provide data-driven recommendations for future programs
Provide event support through coordination of internal events teams including sales, product, product marketing, brand/design, and events team.
Provide support through creation of events materials including client invitations and outreach, agendas, run-of-shows, event plans, checklists, meeting coordination, speaker and presentation coordination.
Provide onsite event support and collaboration for large scale events when necessary. Strategic Marketing Projects: 20%
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, client needs, and emerging market opportunities
Lead market research opportunities, voice customer, industry trends research and client surveys
Lead marketing initiatives and special projects in partnership with the Head of Marketing
Collaborate across departments to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives
Drive process improvements and best practices across marketing functions
8–12+ years of experience in product marketing, B2B marketing, financial services, fintech, SaaS, or related industries
Demonstrated ability to manage external partnerships and negotiate contracts, and managing budgets.
High degree of professionalism and confidence working with executives, SMEs, and cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience with GTM launch strategies.
Experience with the creative development process from concept through implementation
Experience partnering with and managing relationships between agencies and/or internal creative services teams and stakeholders
Self-starter with strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail
Ability to make tradeoffs and manage priorities of inbound work to drive results and deliver on time
Strong presentation and communication skills.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Base salary range: $150,000-$180,000
Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.
