As the Marketing Manager – Nordics you will be part of the Global Marketing team of the IDEXX Companion Animal Group (CAG) and take on Marketing responsibilities for the Nordic markets.
The Companion Animal Group (CAG), provides diagnostic capabilities that meet veterinarians’ diverse needs through a variety of modalities, including in-clinic diagnostic solutions and outside reference laboratory services. This Marketing Manager role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager - Northern Europe, who is in charge of developing and executing regional marketing plans for this territory, working in close partnership with commercial teams.
As the Marketing Manager-Nordics you will be responsible for:
- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of campaigns and programs for several product categories
- Execute commercial plans and maximize value in local markets or corporate account groups in alignment with global strategy and in consultation with the regional, country-level or corporate account marketing managers
- Conduct field marketing activities and execute local events, in person (ie: Trade Shows, seminars) or online (ex: Webinars) in collaboration with Global education team
- Define and implement digital marketing processes and activities including website management, local social media channels and email campaigns
- Act as in-country product manager to support local functions
- Support annual marketing and product launch plans
- Serve as a channel driver for customer and market insights at a local market or corporate account scale
- Support or fully execute quarterly reporting on progress against created plans and KPIs
- Support annual DOPS (Price list) Marketing content creation
- Execute localization of marketing materials
- Manage and update customer data in the CRM system
Skills and Abilities that will help you in this role:
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Fluency in a Nordic language is a strong advantage.
- Preferably 3+ years in a similar Business-to-Business Marketing management role, preferably at Pharma or Medical devices industries
- Ability to develop and implement marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on digital media
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills required. Cultural sensitivity a must as the job involves working with an international team
- Proven ability to work-in and lead with influence project teams which are highly matrixed and cross functional.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate and resolve issues
- Ability to prioritize, maintain focus, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong/advanced presentation skills; ability to present and explain product information to all audiences
- Proficiency in MS office applications
- Open to travel up to 30% on yearly basis
